Cleaning & Disinfecting Your Flat Shields

Proper cleaning and disinfection are essential to maintain sanitation standards and extend the life of your silicone shields.

After Each Use

1. Remove any remaining balm, adhesive, tint, or lifting solution from the shield.
2. Wash thoroughly with warm water and a mild cleanser or soap.
3. Rinse completely to remove all product residue.
4. Disinfect using an EPA registered disinfectant according to the manufacturer's instructions and required contact time.
5. Rinse thoroughly if required by the disinfectant manufacturer.
6. Allow the shield to air dry completely on a clean surface before storing.
7. Store in a clean, covered container to prevent contamination.
